What is VPN?

Virtual Private Network (VPN), is a secure and encrypted connection to another network over the Internet that will mask your internet protocol information to prevents unauthorized traffic. The encrypted connection helps to ensure that sensitive data is safely transmitted because the traffic is encrypted between the device and the network so the traffic remains private as it travels.

For corporate network, a VPN is established based on dedicated equipment to maintain a secure connection. A policy per devices and users are being implemented before a secure connection can be established to the network.

Why VPN?
User mostly will be connected to the unsecure public Wi-Fi to accessing works or personal things, but this connection is vulnerable and less secure and could be exposing private information and browsing habits to the hacker. A VPN is required if you concern about online security and privacy also keeping your browsing anonymous. With VPN, information such as browsing activity and history, device IP Address and location can be hide from an attacker.

A VPN is required if you want to: -
